Granite Lock Co., Inc. is a family-owned and operated business serving the South Shore and neighboring communities. Located in the City of Presidents and the city known for its granite quarries, our locksmithing roots date back to 1958 where Dick began his locksmithing career at Granite City Hardware. Granite Lock opened its doors in 1981 when his son, Rick, joined him. From that point forward, we have expanded our business to now include additional service technicians along with a third generation apprentice.

Granite Lock has the latest key duplication and origination equipment from simple single sided mechanical keys to sidewinder transponder keys. We have the capability of cutting high security automotive keys on site or at our shop location. We can program most transponder keys as well as state of the art key cloning. We are constantly updating software and equipment to keep up with the modern automotive demands. If you have a problem with your ignition or door lock, we do repairs such as repining or replacing of worn or broken locks.
