From start up to seasoned, Greater Mankato Growth is dedicated to working with you throughout the life of your business, providing information and services to help drive your business success and making you aware of the abundant amenities and activities throughout our marketplace. Greater Mankato Growth also conducts regular face-to-face visits with company officials through the Grow Minnesota! program to learn what new services and information will help businesses continue to thrive in Greater Mankato.
Noelle currently serves as the Special Initiatives Coordinator for the City Center Partnership, focusing primarily on researching and facilitating the public art initiatives in the City Center. She is also responsible for assisting with certain programs within the organization including: Alive After Five, City Center Socials and Aesthetics and Livability. Noelle has been with the CCP since 2011, primarily working with the CityArt program till March 2014, when she was hired on full-time.
Shannon joined GMG in October, 2012 as the Talent Programs Director. She is primarily responsible for overseeing the Greater Mankato Leadership Institute and the Greater Mankato Young Professionals programs. Shannon has had more than 20 years of leadership experience in non-profit and for-profit organizations, and is currently Board Chair for the Greater Mankato Area United Way. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Kiwanis Holiday Lights and Mankato Area Foundation. Prior to joining GMG, she was Director of Business Development for Coldwell Banker Commercial Fisher Group of Mankato.
For more than 30 years, the Greater Mankato Leadership Institute has provided the area’s only comprehensive leadership training program with a professional, personal and community focus. The nine-month program consists of 1-2 day long sessions each month from September to May (11 sessions total). Each year the curriculum is updated to ensure graduates are well prepared to serve as leaders in their workplace and our community. Applications accepted each spring until June 1 , for the following fall program start.
Larissa has been working with Visit Mankato for the past six years as the Senior Sales Director where she works on bringing conventions to Mankato and provides services to the ones already here. Previous to Larissa’s employment with Visit Mankato, she was a Flight Attendant where excellent customer service and communication were very important skills that she now utilizes in her current career. Outside of work Larissa enjoys traveling and watching sports. Baseball and football are her sports of choice to watch when the Olympics are on, which is her absolute favorite to watch.
