Yes, we provide what are called "grid-tied" systems. This means that you keep your current connection to the utility. Your solar electric system is producing power when the sun is out, so, if you need power in your property, you will be using the solar power. If you need more power than the solar system is producing, you will draw this power from the utility. And, when you are producing more solar power than you need, the power flows out of your property back to the utility and your electric meter turns backwards! You get credit from the utility for each Kilowatt Hour of power you send to them. So, some days you will be a net producer and some days you will be a net consumer of the utility's power. The goal is to size the system so that over the course of a full year, you make as much power as you consume, and thus have no net electricity cost. We will be glad to do this sizing for you!.
