Gregory Grier, Inc., was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1999 by Eddie Grier and Tom Gregory. After Mr. Gregory's retirement in 2003, Bob Taylor joined Eddie Grier, bringing 40 years of experience in the furniture industry and expanding the service area and customer base from 350 to 1,500 customers throughout the Carolinas.

Bob Taylor has 24 years of experience in the office furniture and systems furniture industry, having spent four years as an interior project designer and 12 as a regional manager of the Charlotte market for The Rudd Group. In all 12 years of service, Bob was consistently ranked in the top four in sales. After leaving The Rudd Group, Bob worked with Eddie Grier as a representative for ECG Associates, Inc. Shortly after his arrival he was offered a position with ECG Associate's largest customer, MacThrift Office Furniture, as Regional Sales Manager for a new Charlotte location.
