Mike Ritzinger , our optician, has been edging and finishing lenses as well as helping individuals choose the right frames and styles for over 25 years. Our on-site finishing lab provides maximum service and efficiency in filling your eyeglass prescription.

Dr. David M. Sawyer has owned Gregory Optical since 1987. He’s a local boy, graduating from Elk River High School in 1975. He received his BS at Wheaton College and Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California School of Optometry in 1983. Practicing in Minnesota since, he has over 25 years of experience in eye care treatment and contact lens fitting. Dr. Sawyer and his wife have twin daughters and a son with Down syndrome who enjoy spending time together. Dr. Sawyer is a volunteer coach with the Special Olympics Minnesota and has made regular medical mission trips to Guatemala, donating his time to aid vision needs there.
