Description

I have been involved in most aspects of audio engineering from making microphone cables to designing electronic equipment and complete systems. My manufacturing experience includes mechanical design, documentation, and inspection of wood, metal, and plastic parts. I have installed, designed, and documented audio-visual systems ranging from background music with jukebox override in a local tavern to a world-class theme park. I have solved electromagnetic interference problems and designed electromagnetic compatibility into audio-visual systems and electronic equipment. I have worked with design engineers, sheet metal fabricators, cabinetmakers, welders, metal finishers, electronic component manufacturers, machinists, and many other professionals to achieve the desired audio-visual result for manufactured products and installed systems. I have working knowledge of: analog circuit design; electronic packaging; mechanical tolerancing including ANSI Y14.5; printed circuit board design; metal and wood fabrication methods; computer and networking systems.
