A watershape refers to any pool, pond, waterfall, spa, fountain and/or all other forms of contained, controlled water. Creating or constructing a completely functional and beautiful watershape is not something that happens by accident or good luck. It is planned, calculated, shaped digitally and on paper, worked, and reworked until the two seemingly unrelated concepts, art and science, are melded into one seamless system. At Gresham Design, that is precisely what I do. Because a watershape is a blend of so many disciplines- hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and hydro-dynamics- a proper design is critical.
