DON LINCOLN DISCUSSING LARGE HADRON COLLIDER On Saturday, November 7, 2009, Griffith Observatory was pleased to welcome Dr. Don Lincoln, Senior Physicist with Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, for two public lectures and a book-signing regarding the Large Hadron Collider. OBSERVATORY HOSTS CASSINI SCIENCE TEAM FOR PUBLIC PANEL DISCUSSION On October 21, 2009, Griffith Observatory welcomed the leaders of the Cassini mission to Saturn for a public panel discussion. An overflow audience in the Leonard Nimoy Event Horizon theater heard mission leaders talk about some of the most interesting things they had learned from the mission to date.
