Description

Mr. Bruce Griffith, upon his retirement from the North Carolina Highway Patrol founded Griffith Security in 1969. The company began with one guard account and gradually became a full-service security and loss prevention provider. Mr. Griffith operated the company, serving as president and CEO until his death in April, 1992. His wife, Mrs. Brenda Griffith currently serves as corporate president. Griffith Security has become the largest privately owned security company in western North Carolina, employing nearly 400 full and part time security officers in all facets of loss prevention.
