The company was founded in 1926 to develop the potential for a patented press-fit fastener called a grooved pin (sometimes referred to as groov-pin or groove-pin). Today our lines of these solid pin fasteners find applications in a wide range of inventories from automotive manufacturers like BMW to aerospace applications like Boeings new Dreamliner, to electronics, energy, defense, and dental industries. They are made in our GA facility on machines of our own design from wire of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and a variety of other materials.

For more than 30 years, Groov-Pin has been providing components to manufacturers of sporting and service firearms and accessories. Our Grooved Pins are used by a number of US gun manufacturers as firing pins. Our Screw Machine Parts are commonly used in rifles, as well as optic accessory fasteners.
