Growing Strong is a rape crisis center in Decatur, IL. We provide healing services to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, and their significant others.

Growing Strong Sexual Assault Center believes in the equality of all persons. Our mission is to provide healing services to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, and their significant others, and to educate the community in an effort to end violence and victimization.

Growing Strong's mission is to provide counseling, therapy and support to victims of sexual assault (ages 4 & up) and their significant others. Our primary goal is to help you recover from your experience.

Advocates provide training for police and sheriff's departments, state's attorney's offices, and other criminal justice agencies. This training covers the psychological effects of victimization, needs/feelings of victims, impact of institutional response on victims, and the specifics of providing quality services to victims.
