Welcome to the homepage of the Grand River Sailing Club (GRSC). GRSC is located in Grand River, Ohio and has approximately 70 members from the myriad of dockage and clubs along the Grand River and nearby marinas and yacht clubs. Since its incorporation in 1981, the club has organized sailboat racing and cruising events. Races are held on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Wednesday races are followed by burgers and cocktails at Pickle Bills in Grand River. Sunday races are followed by a "Keg and hot dog gathering" at Grand River Marine (Old Sailing Center) where you will find race results. GRSC supports and follows the guidelines of the following organizations, I-LYA (Inter-Lake Yachting Association), PHRF (Performance Handicap Racing Formula) and US Sailing. The GRSC racing fleet includes both 'Spinnaker' and 'JAM' (jib and main only) fleets. Our course consists of eight turning marks and two starting marks to permit a variety of courses...
