Description

The National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) is a non-profit association. It was originally conceived to offer insurance education to women in the insurance industry. Today we are among the top associations that offer quality insurance education to both men and women. NAIW has developed over 20 programs to meet this need. NAIW is also dedicated to assisting members of the insurance industry in their career path through professional development education. Active participation as an officer or in activities at the local, state, regional, and national levels is an opportunity to hone career skills. The Greater Seattle Insurance Professionals is a local association affiliated with NAIW. GSIP was founded in 1936. Today it is recognized as an association that adds value to the industry and the community it serves. Members range in age from 20-80 and in careers from entry-level positions to owners of agencies and executives with major corporations. Membership is open to anyone employed in the risk and insurance field. Individuals may join the local association or become a member-at-large. In keeping with our mission, the Greater Seattle Insurance Professionals is: -An association that is recognized in the industry for its development of professionals.
