SpectraCell Laboratories, Inc. has a new 20,000-square-foot worldwide headquarters facility that will allow the specialized clinical testing laboratory company to research and develop new innovations in a building developed by GSL Industrial and custom-built by GSL KinghamDalton. SpectraCell was established in 1993 to commercialize the Functional Intracellular Analysis™ (FIA), a groundbreaking diagnostic blood test developed by the Clayton Foundation for Research at the University of Texas to help clinicians assess the intracellular function of essential micronutrients. The company, based in Houston, has become the premier provider of tests for identifying sub-clinical nutritional deficiencies.
