Description
Since our inception in 1964, the Greensboro Symphony Guild has played a vital role in the promotion and support of the outstanding Greensboro Symphony Orchestra in the community. With a membership of over 500 volunteers, we are committed to the goal of fostering music education, outreach, and appreciation by supporting the Greensboro Symphony in a variety of ways. Projects range from assisting with the organization and funding for concerts for all Third, Fourth, and Seventh Graders in Guilford County, assisting with Outreach Programs for Senior Citizen Centers, providing financial and practical support for our superb Youth Orchestra, providing dinners for the orchestra members during rehearsal time, helping the GSO office staff wherever needed, and sponsoring highly successful fundraising projects.
