Guarantee Electrical Co. was founded in 1902 by seven St. Louis entrepreneurs who “guaranteed” to light the 1904 World’s Fair and is ranked 25th among leading electrical contracting firms by Engineering News-Record. Named Electrical Company of the Year in the 2002 Thomas & Betts Signature Awards, the company provides a complete spectrum of electrical contracting services, including electrical construction, electrical engineering design, design-assist, value engineering, procurement, service and preventative maintenance. Guarantee's subsidiaries include Denver-based Guarantee Electrical Contracting and St. Louis-based Tel-VI Communications. Guarantee is a founding member of the Federated Electrical Contractors (FEC) and is thereby affiliated with 33 of the most respected electrical contracting firms in 60 cities in North America, Europe and Asia.The company is majority-owned by the Oertli family. Frederick “Rick” Oertli serves as President and CEO, and Roger Oertli serves as Chief Operating Officer.
