Lawrence F. Bruder, President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Bruder was recently elevated from President and Chief Operating Officer to President and Chief Executive Officer of Guava Technologies, Inc. Before joining Guava Technologies, Mr. Bruder held business leadership roles as vice president at Applied Biosystems within the functional proteomics division and for Becton Dickinson’s (BD) biosciences business. During his tenure with BD, he held positions that included general manager of the immunocytometry systems division, general manager of the industrial microbiology business, and vice president of marketing for immunocytometry systems. Mr. Bruder has held leadership positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, sales, and product management over a 12-year career at Leica, Inc. and Olympus Corporation. He holds a Masters of Management degree from Kellogg Management School at Northwestern University with a concentration in marketing and economics. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and also completed advanced executive coursework at Harvard University.
