Guild & Landis established a business relationship with State Auto Insurance Company of Columbus, Ohio. For over six decades Guild & Landis was the only representative of the company in the area. The two names were synonymous for several generations of residents of the valley. The Guild & Landis partnership became a corporation as the business grew over the next 50 years. The heirs of J. W. Landis, Darrell and Jack Landis were welcomed into the business as the second generation took the company reigns.
