Guion Construction is a small family owned business. The owners Jim and Cinda Guion moved to Hamlin, NY in 1974 with their son Travis. Jim was a salesman for a company in Chicago and started a small remodeling business. Cinda, a dental hygienist started her dental career in Brockport and has practiced hygiene there ever since. We have been doing business in Western New York for over 25 years. Jim and Cinda have been very active in the community over the years. Jim is a life member of the Hamlin Fire Dept with 30 years of service in that department and also held the position of Fire Chief in 1990 and 1991. Jim has also served on the Board of Directors of the Hamlin Volunteer Ambulance and is currently serving his third 5 year elected term on the Hamlin Board of Fire Commissioners. He currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board. Jim is an avid hunter, snowmobilier, four-wheeler, and boater. Cinda also enjoys snowmobile, four-wheeling and boating. Cinda loves to quilt and belongs to quilting groups in the area. Cinda has also served on the Board of Directors of the Morgan Manning House in Brockport NY, which is a Historical society. Travis is a Sales representative for DentalEz living in the Syracuse area with his wife Sara and son James Matthew. Jim has always been a hands-on builder with the majority of work performed by himself and his employees. The philosophy is simple - the personal touch makes the difference...
