Gulf Shores Collision Center

Description

In 1963 , John Chupek and Austin Beasley formed a partnership in Fairhope, AL to provide quality collision repair work to the community. In a small, dimly lit building on Bancroft Street, now Mannich’s Real Estate, they opened Fairhope Paint & Body Shop. Very soon afterwards, they could see the need of a larger facility laid out for body repairs. They did not have to look far, as they soon constructed a new building on Morphy Ave. about ½ block from the original site. John and Austin remained partners for nine years until Austin returned to farming. John and his wife Helen continued to perform collision repairs until 1972 when they partnered once again with Sid, their son.
