Gulfstream's SV-PFD, which was developed with Honeywell, features a three-dimensional color image of terrain overlaid with Primary Flight Display (PFD) instrument readings. The displays are arranged to provide a large-area view of approaching terrain, including major obstacles, enhancing runway awareness throughout the world. Honeywell's Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) provides well proven terrain and obstacle data. A new, state-of-the-art graphics processor provides the horsepower needed to drive this enhanced graphical presentation.
