GutterStuff started in 1994 with sole inventor Robert Jones. Jones, who had been in the building and remodeling business for 25 years, developed the concept of stuffing the gutter with a filter rather than covering it. He invented the product after determining there was a need for a system that homeowners could install themselves. Other systems required contactors and special tools and were expensive.
