Appointments: The first appointment is usually reserved for a comprehensive examination that includes X-rays, facial photographs, models and a “cavity prone test” unless you have specific concern or require immediate treatment for an emergency condition. “The cavity –prone-test” or Carries Susceptibility Test requires a quick swabbing of designated parts of your mouth. The result will give us approximate count of bacteria in your mouth. With the use of a microscope we will discuss our findings with you, make recommendations and establish a treatment plan. We will explain details and procedures of this plan prepare a cost estimate and work out an appointment schedule with you.
