History of H&R Enterprises-NJ Incorporated H&R Enterprises-NJ Incorporated Roof Cleaning, and Power Washing was founded in 1996 by George Vit. In dealing with an algae problem on a personally owned parcel of real estate, Mr. Vit searched for an algae removal specialist to remove it. He discovered there was not one Roof Cleaning specialist listed in the phone book. In fact the phone books did not have roof cleaning as a listing option. At that time, roof cleaning was unheard of. Clearly seeing the need for this type of specialty, he started the research of products and the development of different methods to conquer the black streaks (algae) problem. The black streaks know as Gloeocapsa Magma presented a unique challenge in developing a cleaning method that would not harm the underlying roofing material. After considerable research and development a method of killing and removing the algae was developed which left the roofing material unharmed. In 2006 Mr. Vit expanded his company to include Graffiti removal, when he noticed an exorbitant amount of Graffiti along the area highways. It seemed that the only solution at that time was to paint over it. In searching for a specialist to remove the Graffiti, he once again found none listed in the phone books. Research and development of different methods of removal resulted in a removal method that not only removes the Graffiti, it also leaves the underlying surface unharmed. Removal of Graffiti comely know as a “Tag ” on surface's such as brick, mortar, masonry, cement, concrete, terrazzo, pavers and porous tile as well as natural stone surfaces such as granite, marble, sandstone, rocks, both porous/rough or polished was no-longer a problem. The removal method developed also is effective on glass, ceramic, porcelain, glazed tiles and grout. Since that time, H&R Enterprises-NJ Incorporated has been dedicated to the continual research and development of removal methods which comply with federal regulations for the removal of Algae and Graffiti as well as enhancing the proper environment standards set forth by the D.E.P. H&R Enterprises-NJ Incorporated strictly follows all EPA and OSHA regulations and only use's chemicals that are 100% Biodegradable which will not harm the environment. All of our trucks are also inspected and approved by D.O.T.
