H&W Emergency Vehicles, located 15 miles west of Portland in Hillsboro, Oregon, has been in the fire apparatus manufacturing, sales and service industry since 1986. The Company was originally dedicated to the maintenance, service and refurbishment of existing fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. In 1989, at the request of many of their customers, H&W Emergency Vehicles began manufacturing new fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. H&W operates from a modern 35,000 sq. ft. fully equipped manufacturing facility. H&W Emergency Vehicles was founded in 1986 by Melvin (Hap) Lee, (Retired) and Wendell (Wink) Weber. Wink is the CEO of the company. Jeff Weber is the President & COO and has been with the company since 1991. Mitch James is the Plant Manager and has been with the company since 1990.
