Flying J Visitor Center & Tribute Gallery Ogden, Utah Client Challenge Create a quality environment to showcase the history of the company and stories about the founder of the Flying J Company: Jay Call. Strategic Solution H.B. Stubbs Companies worked closely with the project design team, Portico Group of Seattle, WA. We were given detailed plans, photo lists and artifact inventories; we were then asked to engineer, fabricate and install the Flying J Tribute Gallery at their home office in Utah. The result is a richly textured, mulit-layered visitor experience filled with wonderful photos, memoribilia and stories of a man and his vision. The Tribute Gallery is a "walk down memory lane" and a glance at how a company can grow from the inspiration and drive of one man. Because the Call Family and the Flying J Company were closely involved with the project, the attention to detail required and the expectations for high-quality deliverables were always present; the end product is a showcase of the family values that have generated an extremely successful company.
