The Manager of Perioperative Services shall be responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care, maintaining required staffing and acting as a liaison between the Hospital administration and the staff in the surgical suites and PACU, PAT, SPU, and Central Sterile Processing. Qualifications Education: • Current Registered Nurse license • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing • Current CPR certification or successful completion of Basic Life Support • BSN or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in a health related field required, Master’s Preferred Experience • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a management role or position of responsibility. • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Operating Room or equivalent experience Licenses/Certificates: • Current Registered Nurse license • Current CPR certification. • Certified Nurse Operating Room 4 OR suites 1700 surgeries a year 10 FTE’s The hospital is a full-service, community hospital offering state-of-the-art technology and medical care in our hospital.
This is an in-patient Hemodialysis Unit which assumes 24-hour accountability for the management and direction of Hemodialysis along with the human and material resources necessary to provide quality patient care and service. The Director supervises multi-position employees in order to contribute to the overall goals of the Medical Center. The Director must be able to develop and operationalize their communicated direction and the objectives of the immediate supervisor. The Director must demonstrate skills and experience generally acquired through a Bachelor’s degree and experience in End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD); some business skills and managerial experience, solid reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, team leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Director must perform advanced computer skills and possess high integrity. Education: BSN or an Associate in Nursing with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Masters Preferred Experience: RN with current certification from a nationally recognized Nephrology nursing or Hemodialysis Organization. Preferred CCRN and ACLS.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Management, Nursing, Social Work, Health Education or related field required. Masters degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and health care management experience. Experience: Experience leading innovative case management programs within integrated health care delivery system. Strong problem resolution abilities and customer relation skills. Experience planning, leading and organizing the resources of a team preferred. Experience in patient care or health education in variety of settings preferred. Experience in utilization management and discharge planning. Leadership experience in case management in a third party administration or managed health care setting preferred. Experience with clinical assessment for clients with complex medical, emotional and social needs. Experience in coordinating UM Committees/and or Clinical Review teams. Experience analyzing, interpreting and presenting financial utilization data. Experience coaching, counseling and administering corrective action. Knowledge: Knowledge of available health care and community resources.

Strong business development and community-based relationship building skills and experience preferred. Knowledge of federal, state, CMS and Joint Commission regulatory requirements required.
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years management experience in a medium to large facility. Must have experience in all technical aspects of histology, IHC stains and coding/billing practices. Three years of technical and managerial experience in area.
