These events allow manufacturers to come together and test interfaces in a semi-private, round robin fashion. Designers can sort out connectivity issues between different manufacturers before products get in consumers’ hands. CEA’s 15th PlugFest will focus on testing devices with CEA-861, HDMI, CEC and HDCP interfaces with those of other participating companies. Registration is now open . Registration closes October 22.
