Located in HJW's Oakland headquarters, member company Pacific Aerial Surveys provides historic aerial photography dating from the 1930's to present, maintains an inventory of recent orthophotos, and offers imagery analysis/expert witness testimony.HJW’s reputation for quality stems from our culture of responsible project planning and implementation. Our project managers choose photo scale, mapping control layouts, and design their projects in a scientifically sound manner, so that quality checks can be performed with high levels of confidence. We value our relationships with our clients, no matter what the size of their projects.HJW has been flying and mapping throughout California and the Bay Area for more than 56 years. Our experience has enabled us to ensure the generation of high accuracy products in light of major terrain variations and bodies of water. Also, our understanding of regional climates and weather patterns allows us to have the upper hand when arranging flight missions. This, however, does not limit us to mapping in California, as we have significant experience with projects nationwide.
