HPC America is a utility industry expert with more than 15 years of experience implementing SAP and developing back-office solutions in accounting, customer billing, supply chain management and business intelligence specifically for utilities large and small. We are an SAP software and services partner, and work with all SAP IS-Utility solutions from IS-U/FERC to CCS and Work Clearance. In 1994, we developed the product that is now known as SAP’s IS-U/FERC module. SAP acquired our FERC module in 1996, and since then we have been intimately involved in its implementation and maintenance at more than 10 utilities throughout the United States. Our goal in serving utility clients is to enhance the timeliness, accuracy, and richness of detail in utilities’ reporting both to regulators and management. Today’s compliance requirements mean far more stringent standards and transparency in accounting. We designed our latest solution, Utility Financials Accelerator (UFA), to provide even greater functionality for cost of service ratemaking and regulatory reporting than the SAP IS-U/FERC solution we first invented 15 years ago. U.S. Leadership: Jerry Cavalieri, Utility Financials Expert Jerry Cavalieri, a former Pacific Gas & Electric principal FERC accountant and the original co-designer of the FERC module, now leads our team of SAP consultants and utility industry experts as CEO of HPC America. Jerry and his consultants work closely with every level of a client’s staff, from managers responsible for day-to-day operations to C-level executives accountable to Boards and regulators. Mr. Cavalieri joined HPC in 1999 after 15 years in financial roles at Pacific Gas & Electric in San Francisco. He led the team that developed the very first SAP solution for utilities to comply with U.S. accounting requirements. He has held positions as Vice President, Professional Services, Director, Utilities Business Practice, and SAP Project Manager on premier client engagements. He is a guest lecturer on SAP topics in the utilities industry. Mr. Cavalieri holds a Bachelors degree in Business from the University of San Francisco, and a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from St. Mary's College in Moraga, California. Mr. Cavalieri has been CEO of our San Francisco/Silicon Valley subsidiary for five years. Even in his executive role, he continues to work closely and directly with clients to ensure customers receive the highest level of service quality and delivery.
