Long before there was Hair Alternatives wigs online, I [Linda] always had a passion for helping others, making people over, providing great service, and having a good listening ear. Pride is first and foremost in all that I do. Hair Alternatives helps boost one's self-esteem, whether its hair loss due to cancer, alopecia, or any other medical condition. This is what I have done for over 40 years as a licensed cosmetologist, wig expert & a wig wearer myself. A love & passion of wigs is what i provide to my clients.

Hair Alternatives is an online retailer that provides quality wigs for women of all color. We specialize and focus on providing quality wigs, turbans, headbands, hair pieces for women who have lost hair due to cancer, chemo wigs, chemotherapy and alopecia. We take pride on working with American Cancer Society in providing alternatives that help boost the esteem of women who have lost their locks to cancer or any other medical causes. We carry a large variety of styles and colors to compliment our clients. At Hair Alternatives, our focus is the customer.

I have been a licensed cosmetologist for over 40 years , and a Teacher in Hairdressing. I am living my goal, and that is helping others in need of my service and Wigs. I LOVE what I do , and hope to continue for as long as I can. Hair Alternatives is both an online store to the world, and a full service salon located in the Poconos offering everything for all your hair & wig needs. In 2007 I received the "ATHENA " AWARD for contributing to my community. Also, I donate my time to American Cancer Society's "LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER" program.

Hair Alternatives participates in the Locks of Love program providing a free haircut if you donate hair longer than 10 inches. Locks of Love mission is to return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss by utilizing donated ponytails to provide the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children. The children receive hair prostheses free of charge or on a sliding scale, based on financial need.
