Deborah A. Hall, founder and president of Hall & Associates, Ltd., is a recognized leader in the hospitality recruiting industry. She has learned first-hand what qualities make one candidate superior to another through her professional career and active recruiting. Having worked in hotel sales and marketing for over 15 years where she earned numerous achievement awards including Sales Manager of the Year at the Park Hyatt Chicago, Sales Manager of the Year by Hyatt Hotels, and many more. Hall soon advanced to a director of sales position where she was responsible for hiring and grooming successful sales managers. In this role, she developed a keen talent for matching a candidate’s skills with the job at hand. Inspired by this to apply her ambitious personality and industry knowledge, experience and extensive network in matching an individual’s knowledge and abilities to an employers’ needs, she founded her own hospitality recruiting business in 1999. She guards the integrity of each employer and candidate, and actively participates in the industry associations that help maintain the highest level of quality in hospitality recruiting services. She is a board member of the National Association of Executive Recruiters and continues to be active in Meeting Planners International.
