Hamblin Photography is a family oriented, professional portrait studio owned by Jim & Connie Hamblin. Both Jim & Connie are members of Professional Photographers of America, Southeastern Professional Photographers of America, Tennessee Professional Photographers Association, Music City Professional Photographers Association and Children's Photographers International. Jim has served on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association. Connie has served on the Board of Directors of Music City Professional Photographers Association, as well as president of the association in 2005. They are also members of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, an infant bereavement photography network. Jim & Connie strive for customer satisfaction and are dedicated to building a long lasting relationship with their clients. It is their policy to create a unique experience for each customer, making sure that each session is fun for their clients. They enjoy capturing memories and preserving them for a lifetime. Because both are qualified photographers, you may choose the photographer that you feel is most suited for your session, or both may participate. Jim's love of photography started at an early age. He has been known for his photography throughout the area for many years, and, as a result, he, has been able to photograph generations. His interest in children's photography started with the birth of his first grandchild. Since that time, he has developed a style of portraiture that captures the fleeting wonder of childhood with all its innocence and simplicity. These precious mements become a journal of art that can be enjoyed for generations to come. Connie is an accomplished photographer in her own rights. Her artistic creations in backgrounds and props give the studio a style all its own. She has created many of the garments worn by clients during their sessions. She won the Ron Warrick Memorial Scholarship in 2003. She attended the University of Iowa and studied under the direction of Tim Kelley who is known by photographers throughout the industry.
