History - Hamilton Community Health Network (HCHN) formally known as Hamilton Family Health Center was established in 1982 by St.Joseph's Hospital (now known as Genesys Health System), as a response to the unmet medical needs of the low income and minority populations primarily for the north side of Flint. The center offered medical, dental and social services and operated in a facility on Hamilton Avenue during the first six years of its existence.
