Hamilton Technical College

Description

Our History Hamilton Technical College was established in 1969 in Bettendorf, Iowa, under the name of Academy of Radio and Television Electronics. The name was altered to A.R.T. Technical College in 1977 to indicate the institution's ability to grant specialized technical degrees. The school campus was moved to 425 East 59th Street, in Davenport, Iowa, in 1979. In 1980, the name was changed to Hamilton Technical College to reflect the name of the founder, Charles Hamilton, Jr. In 1987, Hamilton Technical College opened its South Campus facility at 1011 E. 53rd Street, Davenport, Iowa 52807 to accommodate additional curricula and students. In 1991, the South Campus facility was designated as the Main Campus of Hamilton Technical College. In 1993, all classes were combined at the campus located at 1011 E. 53rd Street, Davenport, Iowa 52807.
