Roger Hammond Founder and President of Hammond Insurance Services Roger is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and the Aetna Casualty Personal and Commercial Lines Institute. He was an Underwriter for Aetna from 1970 – 1976 then came to Staunton with a local agency. In 1983 he co-founded Hammond & Foster Insurance in Staunton and changed the name to Hammond Insurance Services in 2007. Tammy Whetzel Office Manager and Personal Lines Sales Tammy is the Operations Manager of the Staunton office branch and has over 29 years of experience in the insurance industry. Tammy is a Certified Professional Insurance Woman and an Accredited Customer Service Representative. She is licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health. Steve Jackson Producer Steve is a graduate of William and Mary with a Bachelors Degree in Math and a Joint Degree in Law, and has served over 24 years in the Commercial sector obtaining cost effective insurance contracts for his past employers. Steve specializes in Group, Health, Life, Long Term Care and Disability insurance policies, along with Annuities. Marsha Redifer Commercial Lines CSR Marsha is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) with a license in Property and Casualty, and has been serving in the insurance industry sector since 1975. Patricia Johnson Commercial Lines CSR Pat is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) with a license in Property and Casualty, and has been a team member of Hammond Insurance Services since 1986. Belinda Huffer Personal Lines CSR Belinda is a graduate of Dunsmore Business and has been a team member of Hammond Insurance Services since 2004. Mindy Kirk Processing Mindy works with the Personal Lines Customer Service Representatives and is in the process of obtaining her Property and Casualty License. Melanie Buza Bookkeeper Melanie has over 10 years of bookkeeping experience and will be completing her Associates Degree in Accounting shortly. She has been a team member of Hammond Insurance Service since 2009. Ben Houseknecht Commercial Lines Producer Ben attended the Mechanical Engineering Program at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). Ben specializes in Commercial Property and Casualty lines of coverage.
