Hand Surgery Associates, S.C. (HSA) began in the 1970's as a single physician hand surgery practice located in a growing industrial area in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Over the last 30 years, we have grown to become a renowned center of excellence, recognized across the state for our specialization in injuries and problems of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. The first replantations of upper extremity amputations in Chicago were performed by one of the co-founders of HSA in the 1970s. With our main office still located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, HSA is the largest non-university single specialty hand groups and one of the largest in the Midwest . We have 5 board certified orthopedic and plastic surgeons, each having additional training in upper extremity and microvascular surgery. We have 6 locations throughout the Chicago area.
