Handicappedliftseat.com was founded by Bob Anderson and Larrey Anderson to fulfill a need for a low cost reliable lift seat for pickups. A few years ago Bob's wife suffered a stroke leaving her mobility severely restricted. Bob needed something to assist him with his wife entering and exiting his vehicle. A long search only turned up specialized vans or heavily modified cars. Bob and Larrey got together and decided to design a device to solve the problem. Bob is the long time owner of an electric motor repair business and Larrey had a R.V. dealership and repair shop.
