Description
While working for a large school district I found that the majority of the students with whom I worked had handwriting difficulties. A unique tool was needed that would facilitate the appropriate pencil grasp, allowing the student to focus on the basics of letter formation, size, line, and space adherence. It was from this need that my husband and I conceived and developed our first product; the HandiWriter . We applied for, and were granted a US patent in November of 1999. All of our subsequent products have been developed from the direct needs encountered in the educational and therapeutic environment.
