Description

HAPi Golf became partners of The First Tee organization in the fall of 2005, which was just in time to make its corporate launch at the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach. "The opportunity to launch our company in Pebble Beach at such a unique event that pairs junior golfers with the Champions Tour players was ideal. It was my first time to Pebble Beach and I shared the week with my family and a few very close friends. Probably the most memorable part of the trip besides watching the golf was eating breakfast with Lanny Wadkins and meeting Arnold Palmer." Both legendary golfers are friends with Stuart and members of Preston Trails along with Ben Crenshaw, Tom Watson, Lee Trevino and the late Byron Nelson. Since launching at Pebble Beach, HAPi Golf has worked with local Chapters of The First Tee organization from around the country on The HAPi Tour to develop memorable fundraiser events to raise money and awareness for the non-profit, which was founded in part by the PGA Tour. 2006 HAPi Tour events included a live musical concert featuring Hootie & The Blow Fish that benefited The First Tee of Augusta during Masters Week, the opening ceremonies of local Chapters in Nevada and Ireland, The First Tee Invitational and Caddy Day at the Pro-Am of the Bank of America Colonial.
