was founded in 1989, when owner Barrett Ersek was merely a junior in high school. Barrett basically grew up in the lawn care industry. He'd worked for a competitor since the age of 12 and, at 17, was put in charge of dealing with their dissatisfied customers, most of whom were calling to cancel their service.
