Matt has been in emergency services for over 15 years, spending the last ten years as a law enforcement officer. Matt has had the privilege to work and train with multiple agencies on a city, county and State level. He has attended many training courses and is constantly seeking out other training courses to enhance his abilities. Matt has always had a desire to be a teacher and Hard Target Firearms has become the perfect venue for that.

Hard Target Firearms is a firearms training company based in southwestern Indiana. We’ve been training civilians, law enforcement officers and even military personnel since 2004. The needs of all three groups are unique, so we tailor classes and training events to the need of the group we are working with at that given time.

ABOUT THE CLASSES The needs of the armed professional are different than the needs of the responsibly armed citizen. Police officers, military, private defense contractors, and armed security services all face different challenges. Hard Target is uniquely positioned to be able to provide highly advanced and customized training to fit the needs of these armed professionals. These events are closed to the public and are created, scheduled and completed on an individual basis. As a certified training provider of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, we know the needs of law enforcement and routinely provide training to law enforcement. This ranges from basic qualification to some of the most advanced training available. And with a diverse military background among some of the Hard Target instructors, we are also uniquely able to also help those who are training for deployments all around the world.
