BRETT HARDESTY TO GREET PUBLIC AT “MEET THE BUILDER” EVENT NOV. 7th Learn the Latest News About the Local and National Housing Markets Mr. Brett Hardesty, head of Hardesty Homes of St. Louis, will be on hand to meet the public on November 7th from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Homestead Estates in Wildwood. Mr. Hardesty will speak on the state of the housing market, how builders are coping with the difficult times, and the outlook for the upcoming year. A current member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), past president of the St. Louis Home Builders Association (HBA), and member of the National Land Development Committee and the Land Use Policy Subcommittee, Mr. Hardesty has unique insight into the prospects for the housing industry as a whole, and the St. Louis market in particular. “It will be an opportunity for all prospective homebuyers to ask questions of a national homebuilding expert,” explained Hardesty Homes representative Sharon Wright, “Mr. Hardesty will answer questions about the market and current trends in the building industry. He’ll also discuss what has helped Hardesty Homes endure as a leading homebuilder for over 75 years in the St. Louis area.” The event is scheduled as part of Hardesty Homes’ 75th anniversary celebration, to be kicked off that week. Mr. Hardesty represents the third generation of the Hardesty family to carry on the home building tradition. “Many people have the impression that Hardesty homes are only for those in the million dollar bracket,” explained Wright, “But we build that same high end quality into our homes at every price level.
