Description
The new campus will be designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects. Rafael Viñoly Architects has a history of developing extraordinary educational spaces, including the new mathematics building at Oxford University, the Spitzer School of Architecture at City College (near the site of the new building for Harlem Academy), and a new campus for New York University in the Middle East. RVA has been a strong supporter of Harlem Academy from the beginning and is providing its design services pro bono. The project is being led by Vice President Jay Bargmann, who serves on Harlem Academy’s board of trustees. Feedback from families and staff is being incorporated into the process.
