John and Marci Crowell are the new owners of Reno Harley-Davidson. They come to Reno direct from Harley-Davidson Motor Company Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI and bring more than 25 years of experience in dealership development, marketing, sales and rentals with them. They know what works at dealerships across the nation and they’re eager to implement new programs in Reno.The Crowells met and married while at Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee, WI where Marci was most recently in marketing and John was Director of Dealer Development with five business units reporting to him. They have two daughters, Danielle, 16 and Lauren, 15 who played an important role in the decision to move to Reno.The Crowells knew Bud and Patty Evans, former owners of Harley-Davidson of Reno, for more than 20 years. When the Evans’ confided they were looking to retire, the Crowells thought it was an excellent time to begin the next chapter of their own lives. "If we could stay in the industry we loved, it would be a great way to raise our kids and give them a business they could participate in," John explains.
