About Harold Johnson Optical Labs Harold Johnson Optical Laboratories, Inc. was founded to provide Lens Designers and Engineering Companies a source for breadboard models, prototypes and production optics. For the past two decades our customers relied on Harold Johnson Optical Laboratories to build and test hardware to exact design specifications to assure product reliability. Our craftsmen are quality-oriented and take pride in meeting all requirements and tolerances imposed by customers drawings.Every optic shipped from Harold Johnson Optical Laboratories has a minimum of five inspections regardless of quantity ordered. We do not sample by lot. Some of the instrumentation utilized by our inspection personnel include a digitized lens bench, Zygo GPI, and ZYGO PTI Interferometers. Our Quality Control Department is tailored to meet MIL 1-45208A and MIL 0-13830.
