Harry is actually Rod Harris, the mastermind behind our concept of fresh and ready foods (soups, chilies, stews, sides, entrées, sauces, gravies and desserts). He earned the name Harry while serving in the Coast Guard during his late teens. Following years of experience in the restaurant industry and having two restaurants of his own, he saw the need for fresh and wholesome prepared foods of restaurant quality and started the company in 1978.Quality has always been and will always be our number one focus. To make an outstanding meal we believe you must start by using the finest ingredients. Our garden vegetables are delivered daily at their peak of freshness. Our savory meats are hand-selected to guarantee full flavor and tenderness to the bite. Our wholesome pastas are custom made for each special recipe. Our premium herbs are carefully blended to accent each recipe's flavor profile. Unlike most prepared foods, we use small kettles, which are hand stirred by professionally trained chefs. Each ingredient is carefully staged and cooked to perfection. To guarantee product safety, each batch is packaged and sealed at high temperatures. The packages are then immediately submerged into our state-of-the-art water chill tanks where they are quickly cooled to lock in freshness. Our Quality Assurance Department keeps a close watch over the entire process to guarantee you receive a meal that is both delicious and consistent every time you purchase it.
