The Sisler family has been making ice cream for over 100 years! They know what they’re doing. Started by George Sisler in tiny Ohio, Illinois, they originally cut ice from a local pond and sold it for use in home ice boxes and they also packed the ice around their gourmet ice cream to ship it year round. In 1957, George retired and his son, Bill, took the helm until 1993 when Bill’s son “Billy”, his daughter Karen Anderson and friend Dan Thompson took over the business.
