COMMON PURSE: We consider private property to be a hindrance to the Great Commission of Jesus (Matt. 28:19-20). Therefore, we hold all things in common as did the early Church (Acts 4:31-35). VOLUNTARY POVERTY: As modeled by the life of our Lord Jesus, and later by Francis of Assisi, early Anabaptists, Eberhard Arnold, Dorothy Day, Clarence Jordan, and even Ghandi. MODESTY IN DRESS: While not uniform in style, plain in form, as a witness against the "self-love" of the world. Women wear the Christian head covering as a symbol of religious consecration, prayer, protection, and simplicity, and to further separate from the blurring by the world, of our God-given roles as men and women. OUR CHILDREN: They shall be taught in our own schools to standards meeting and exceeding those required by the state. We hold that education is not to be foisted upon children as is done in the world, "to get ahead," but rather, to equip them to grow and become citizens in the Kingdom of God, not mammon...
