Hawaii Custom Development Inc. was started in 1989 by Mark Robinson with the purpose of building unique fine custom homes. Many years designing and building fine custom cabinets, furniture and custom yacht interiors as well as studying Japanese Architecture and construction, have given Mark a broad background for developing fine aesthetic solutions to typical design problems. We have a complete cabinet shop that enables us to fabricate special order custom millwork on a short lead time such as doors, windows and cabinets or furniture, and produce the kind of outstanding quality that we demand. On a recent project at the request of our client, we custom crafted a curved bay window to accommodate a round Jacuzzi tub. Our dedication to detail has led us to source the finest hardware available from vendors all over the world. For instance, our experience with European hinges in cabinetry installed in beachfront houses has necessitated that we find a vendor for stainless steel European designed hinges, to alleviate the rust problem associated with the plated European hinges other builders use. Another example are the special bronze hose bibs that we offer to give the exterior of your home a more refined look.
